Bullying ...

If you are Bullied ...

......is when you CHOOSE to behave in a way that will make another person feel frightened, sad, or physically in danger.

  • tell them to stop because you don't like it
  • try not to show you are upset
  • walk away as soon as you can
  • tell an adult you trust

...... is when you make someone feel different by excluding them, calling them names, teasing them about their different clothes, speech or beliefs.

If  you know someone is being bullied don't stand by and watch, tell an adult.

...... is when you consistently make someone feel so frightened or sad, they do not want to come to school.

You can help to stop bullying by......

  • letting others know you think it is horrible
  • not joining in
  • being careful of what you say even as a joke

...... is when you enjoy making other children feel unhappy and frightened.

When you tell an adult about bullying, be clear about ..

  • who did it
  • what happened
  • where it happened
  • what you did about it
