Thornbury Primary School believes that children should experience the culture of other countries through an in-depth study of their geography, art, dance, drama, religion and food. Promoting tolerance and empathy for people of all cultures is fundamental to what we believe! Every day our multicultural project culminates in a festival. This year it will be extra special, with many visitors coming in to share their expertise, including an African drumming group. Countries we study include Brazil, France, India, Tanzania, China, the Caribbean and of course our own.
